Hey there HOG members, last chance for some food, fun and help out the nature center all at the same time !!
BEAVER LAKE NATURE CENTER PANCAKE BREAKFAST AND MAPLE SYRUP DEMONSTRATIONS
LAST pancake breakfast is this Saturday March 29 from 9:00 until 12:00
- After eating it is a short hike to the sugar bush area for maple sugaring demonstrations from 10:00 until 2:00.
- Naturalists will be at each step to explain the sugaring process.
- Back at the Nature center, there will be maple sugar products for sale as well as a bake sale.
- Depending on the weather, you may be able to cross country ski, snowshoe (rentals available) or hike along any of the other trails at the nature center.
- The proceeds from the breakfast benefit the Friends of Beaver Lake and all the activities they offer.
If your not into hiking, you can just sit back, relax and watch the birds from the atrium area.
I do have a couple of people signed up so far, but there is still time to let me know if you want to join in.
