We will be working Saturday evening, May 3, 2014 from 8:30 until they go off the air.
Volunteer jobs consist of working the phone bank by taking incoming bids and answering any questions. There are also positions for runners, which entails going up and down a couple of stairs to deliver bids to the computers operators.
For those that want to eat before going to the station, we will be meeting at āThe Gemā diner at 6:00pm before heading to the studio to take our places in the phone bank.
If you canāt join us for dinner, there is free food available at the station, catered in by a local restaurant to feed the volunteers.
It is a great way to spend a fun evening filled with lots of laughs, good times and helping Public Broadcasting at the same time. Come and join us !!
If you didnāt sign up yet, thatās okay, there is always room for more volunteers. Please just let me know if you wish to volunteer and if you plan on joining us at the Gem for dinner.
