If you are interested in volunteering with Syracuse HOG at the annual WCNY Travel Auction please contact me now as I have to get a final head count to the station on Tuesday.
We will be working the Friday evening shift on January 23, 2015 from 8:30 until 12:00.
I currently have 7 members signed up but there is plenty of room if you care to join us.
We will be meeting at the Little Gem diner around 6:00 for dinner before heading to the studio.
Volunteer jobs consist of working the phone bank by taking incoming bids and answering any questions. There are also positions for runners, which entails going up and down a couple of stairs to deliver bids to the computers operators.
If you can’t join us for dinner, there is free food available at the station, donated by a local restaurant to feed the volunteers.
